I love this piece of information design! On first glance I thought it was the same as Billion Pound-O-Gram by David McCandles which I like for it’s simplicity and everything in front of you, but i love the interactivity of the Obama Budget graphic. You can look at the whole thing and see the big picture, you can zoom in and look at the detail, you can compare different options and aspects of budgets. I’m not so in love with the colour choice but otherwise, I wish I had to crunch info like this into an elegant, lively graphic that gies and gives.
